Mysterious Big Giant Lego Man (8 Feet Tall Legoman) Found Again on a Florida Beach Shore After Floating in Ocean
Mysterious Giant Lego Man (8 Feet Tall) Washes Up on a Beach"NO REAL THAN YOU ARE" is the message on the back of the latest giant Lego man to come ashore from the ocean's shore. This 8 foot (2.5 metre tall) big Lego man was the third one that has been found with this message.
The first giant Lego man was found in 2007 in the Dutch Sea and washed ashore in Zandvoort, The Netherlands. The second was found in 2008 on Brighton Beach in England. Then, three years later, a third big Lego man was found on the shore of Florida's Siesta Key. Where will the next one show up? Where did the giant floating Lego man come from? In the words of the double rainbow guy (if you don't know this YouTube video, look it up!), "What does it mean!?!?" |

Who is Responsible For This Madness?

The man behind the big Lego men is Ego Leonard which is the name written on the back of the fiberglass Lego man's shirt along with the number 8 (as if he was wearing a jersey). At least that is the name he is using (L. Ego). He claims to come from a virtual world and that he is bound for adventure in the form of giant Lego men.
His message is not 100% clear and there has been no real solid answer as to why he sent yet another giant Lego man overseas. You can see for yourself what he has to say about why he's doing what he's doing at http://www.egoleonard.nl/ego_gb.html.

5 Things You Could Do With Your Own Giant Lego ManWhat would you do if you found a giant Lego man as you wandered along the beach? I personally would be giddily giggling for at least a week straight. I absolutely love Legos and this would be like finding buried treasure to me.
Here are five things you could do if you were to find your own Lego man: |
1. Ask him trim your tall trees for you.
2. Make it easier for people to find your house on Google Earth by putting him in the driveway.
3. Compete for a world record by gathering a bunch of people for the most people blowing a raspberry on a belly at once.
4. Buy giant snap on costumes such as a Santa costume and Easter Bunny outfit so you can have the coolest holiday decoration on the block.
5. Use him as an extra passenger to qualify for the carpool lane. He can also be your body guard if you take him into the store or work with you.
Hopefully this will help you figure out what to do if you found your own Lego man. Don't forget you could contact the other giant Lego man owners to see if they wanted to trade shirts (Not yours! The Lego shirts!).

What is the Purpose of This?
Why in the world would someone create a giant Lego man and release him into the ocean? I would love to hear your theories and also any ideas on what you could do with an 8 foot Lego man in the comments section below!
Based on the research I've done, it seems to me that Ego Leonard is either trying to do some advertising (which is pretty effective since I now want a big Lego man), he is trying to send a cryptic message, or he just loves the fame associated with doing something so... random. Either way I would say that he has definitely hit his mark because his giant Lego men floating in the ocean have made quite the splash (pun intended)!
